My name is Amber. I was born in February; more than a few years ago. I am shorter than average. My eyes are brown and shaped oddly enough that I must wear corrective lenses usually in the form of glasses. My favorite color is purple. I am a vegetarian. I have three cats.

I was born in Maine. My family moved around a bunch before settling for a time in the mountains of North Carolina. I loved the air. I loved the views. I hated the long time it took to get anywhere resembling somewhere. I was generally a solitary sort of young human. I liked to walk. I liked to think. I liked to imagine.

My high school years were split. The first third still in North Carolina. The next two thirds, I lived in Alabama. I lived just outside of Birmingham to be closer to exact. There was no walking. It was not quiet enough to think much. Reality stole the place of imagination. Star Trek helped me.

After that many important things happened but it all amounted to not much really. I am still alive. I have a job. I feed, clothe, and shelter myself. I have three cats. My favorite color is purple. None of the cats are named purple.
